Next Generation

The Next Generation is a co-ed group of adults who are married, single, and many are parents of toddlers to teens. Members are between the ages of 18 and 40 and engage in various fellowship and charitable endeavors. This group co-ordinates the annual church picnic and new member banquet..

 

 

Fellowship Committee

Our Fellowship committee plans the fellowship events that bring our congregation together. They coordinate our church picnic, Thanksgiving dinner, and other family friendly events.

 

Young At Heart

This group includes adults mostly over the age of 40. Members gather for quarterly Bible Study and dinner at the church, take in theatrical performances (and a snack afterward), an annual picnic, and travel together. Trips have included the Taltree Arboretum in Valparaiso, the Hoosier Bat Company, and even a tour of the Thornton, IL., limestone quarry.

 

Dart Ball

Dartball is a team sport popular in Lutheran churches. Our dartball league includes men from local congregations who play on Tuesday nights. Darts are thrown to score hits, strikes, runs, and outs like baseball.  The team with the most runs after nine innings is the winner.  An annual dartball banquet is held at a local restaurant with hundreds in attendance.
